Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how FIDATRA Passport uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our website and authenticated services.
2. Cookies currently used
FIDATRA Passport currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide authentication, session security and access to protected areas of the platform.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| fidatra_access_token | Authenticates the current session and permits access to protected FIDATRA Passport functionality. | Approximately 15 minutes | Strictly necessary |
| fidatra_refresh_token | Supports secure continuation and renewal of an authenticated session. | 7 days | Strictly necessary |
3. Security characteristics
Authentication cookies are configured as HttpOnly and, in production, Secure. They use SameSite=Lax and are available only for the FIDATRA Passport website path.
HttpOnly prevents normal client-side JavaScript from reading the authentication token. Secure ensures that production cookies are transmitted over HTTPS.
4. Analytics and advertising cookies
FIDATRA Passport does not currently use advertising, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics cookies.
If optional analytics or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and the applicable consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated where consent is required.
5. Managing cookies
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. However, blocking the strictly necessary authentication cookies used by FIDATRA Passport may prevent login or other authenticated functionality from working correctly.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the platform, applicable technologies or our use of cookies changes. The latest version will always be published on this page.
7. Contact
Questions about the use of cookies on FIDATRA Passport can be sent through the contact details provided by FIDATRA.
